গান আমরা সবাই ভালোবাসি। তবু কত গান হারিয়ে যায়! আবার কত গান বেঁচে থাকে জন্ম-প্রজন্ম ধরে। হঠাৎ একটা পুরনো গান শুনলেই মন ভালো হয়ে যায় কোনো এক জাদুবলে, ক্ষণিকের জন্য ফিরে যাই পুরনো দিনে, মনের মাঝে ভেসে ওঠে কত স্মৃতি। গান বাঁচে আমাদের মাঝে। আমরা বাঁচি গানের মাঝে।
বাংলা গানের বিস্তৃতি ব্যাপক।রবীন্দ্রসঙ্গীত ও নজ্রুলগীতির আলাদা এবং স্বতন্ত্র ধারা বাংলা গানে বিদ্যমান এবং এগুলিকে বাদ দিলেও বাংলা লোকগীতি, আধুনিক ও ছায়াছবির গানের সম্ভার বিশাল। এই ব্লগটি বাংলা আধুনিক ও ছায়াছবির গানের একটি সঙ্কলন। কিছু রবীন্দ্রসঙ্গীত ও নজরুলগীতিও এখানে সঙ্কলিত হয়েছে যেগুলি বিভিন্ন ছায়াছবিতে ব্যবহৃত।
এখানে প্রকাশিত সঙ্কলন্টি এখনও অসম্পুর্ন এবং চেষ্টা করছি এটি ক্রমশ সম্পুর্ন করার। স্বভাবতই তা সময়সাপেক্ষ্য এবং কঠিন। আপনার মতামত ও আলোচনা যে কোন সময়ই স্বাগত।
বেশির ভাগ গান্ই internet-এ পাওয়া যায়। তাই এখানে আপাতত কোন গান upload করা হোল না।

Prologue
We all love to listen to a song. Still we lose them time to time! On the other hand many of them live year after year, generation by generation. Music lives with us. We live with music.
The Bengali music covers a very wide area. The Rabindrasangeet (Tagores' song) and Nazrulgeeti (songs by Kazi Nazrul Islam) have an independent and wide genre in Bengali music. Despite of these two genres, Bengali music has an wide range of folk, modern and movie songs. This blog is about a discography (song list) of Bengali Adhunik (modern) and Chhayachhobi (movie). Few Rabindrasongit and Nazrulgiti those were used in various movies also have been listed here.
This blog and the collections are not yet completed and I am trying to complete it day by day. You know it's really a tough task and will take time. Your valuable feedback and suggestions are always welcome.
